Sutherland follows interview with drunken tantrum

Kiefer Sutherland began Thursday night having drinks at a hotel bar in London. The actor was spotted drinking wine at the Covent Garden Hotel bar with a friend until 2 a.m. before heading to the city’s notorious exotic dance venue Stringfellows. Around 4 a.m., paparazzi captured the actor, who had since removed his shirt, being escorted out of the club by bouncers who held him in a headlock. According to sources within the strip club a scuffle broke out when Sutherland refused to leave. Onlookers described Sutherland as an “absolutely screaming paralytic” and “shouting nonsense and dancing the like Peter Crouch before kicking off when asked to leave.” Shirtless and stumbling on a London street then reportedly was placed in his car and chauffeured back to his hotel. Earlier in the evening Sutherland, who recently wrapped filming his last season of “24”, appeared on British interviewer Jonathan Ross television show looking cool and collected.  Sutherland described his time in prison after a DUI conviction in 2007: “‘I made a really stupid mistake, I put a lot of things in jeopardy. It was awful, I was in solitary for a long time, it’s not a place you want to be.”
